Engineer III : Tulsa, OK
Our organization is seeking a skilled Engineer to join our Engineering Services group, located in Tulsa, OK at corporate headquarters. The role will interact with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), standards authors, and content owners within and outside of the Project Standards team to consolidate, develop, and maintain engineering design, construction, and equipment standards for the enterprise.
:Simultaneously lead multiple working teams in the review, development/revision, and publication of new and existing standards
:Coordinate identification of appropriate working team members
:Communicate with working team members and their managers for support and participation
:Apply knowledge and experience to coordinate discussions, assign follow:ups to resolve open issues, and identify options to resolve disagreement
:Improve clarity, conciseness, and adherence to industry standards, regulations, lessons learned, as well as internal guidance on style and format.
:Explain difficult issues and work to build consensus with internal/external customers, vendors, or regulatory organizations.
:Independently make decisions within guidelines, philosophies, polices, and business models that impact engineering, construction, and operations activities.
:Technical and process improvement recommendations which improve performance, efficiency, and safety
:Act as a resource for colleagues with less knowledge or experience
:Perform research and studies related to the development of white papers and written guidance related to engineering and construction standards
Functional/Technical Competencies:
:Proven conceptual and practical expertise in a relevant discipline
:Advanced written and verbal English communication, proofreading, and grammatical skills
:Ability to quickly grasp project standard concepts and translate them into clear, easy:to:understand content
:Advanced ability to utilize Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)
