The Human Resources Specialist (Talent Development) will work to create an engaging employee experience at WPX by leveraging organizational strategies to developing talent and improve performance. With a thorough analytical understanding of employee trends and patterns, the Specialists will provide insights and recommendations to HR Stakeholders and company leadership to improve organizational effectiveness.

RESPONSIBILITIES

* Participates in the design and execution of performance processes, competency modeling, development programs, succession planning and curriculum development.

* Partners with HR Business Partners to design and implement programs, practices, and learning content which support our talent strategies and development efforts.

* Develops and maintains partnerships with external vendors to design learning and leadership development solutions that meet WPX's specific needs.

* Leads organizational culture and development efforts.

* Develops and administers employee surveys and evaluations to gain intelligence around employee engagement, experience, hiring, terminations, and other key points in the employee life cycle.

* Analyze data from surveys and organizational trends.

* Create reports with visually compelling charts and graphs. Prepare slide decks and dashboards or reports to identify key trends, patterns, as well as identify actionable items and recommendations.

* Work closely with HR Business Partners and others to provide data analyses and insights to support key initiatives, such as attrition reduction, recruitment, succession planning, talent management, and diversity.

* Manage corporate-wide communications efforts for Human Resources.

* Successfully implement Human Resources projects by leading project teams through planning and execution, monitoring and overseeing the project through the project lifecycle.

* Completes other projects and duties as assigned.

Requirements

* Bachelors' degree in human resources, psychology, business, or related field (required), master's degree in industrial-organizational psychology, organizational development or business administration (preferred).

* At least 5 years of combined experience in data analysis, training, and leadership development in a business environment.

* Excellent interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills. Capable of building and leveraging networks across various levels and functions.

* Consultation skills to determine needs, make recommendations, and guide decision-making.

* Creative problem-solving to generate new perspectives and innovative solutions.

* Current working knowledge of Human Resources technology and use of metrics in HR.

* Technical capabilities: Proficient with Microsoft Office software, specifically Excel, survey platforms (e.g., Survey Monkey or Qualtrics), and general data visualization. Proficiency with statistical tools (e.g., SAS or SPSS), preferred.

* Experience with BI tools, Human Capital Management Systems and Learning Management Systems (preferred).

* Strong analytical skills.

* Strong project management skills.

* Able to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment.

* Display professionalism and discretion in handling sensitive information.

* Certification in MBTI, Hogan, DISC and/or Korn Ferry assessments (preferred).
