Manager Business Development:Kansas/Oklahoma
Ascensionat Home Business Developement Manager for Kansas/Oklahoma Territory
Position Summary:
This position is responsible for all sales activities for their respective markets, including recruiting, selecting, hiring, orienting, training, coaching, and ongoing management of their Sales and Marketing department. The Area Sales Manager is responsible for achieving measurable increases in home health care referrals that turn into admissions, in alignment with the company's goals and budget.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
:Measuring sales performance, and establishing compensation thresholds for members of their Sales and Marketing department
:Demonstrates technical selling skills and product knowledge in all areas listed above to be able to demonstrate effective sales competencies to all members within their Sales and Marketing Department
:Develops quarterly and annual sales plans in conjunction with the Senior Vice President, Sales and Marketing, which details activities to follow during the fiscal year, which will focus all staff members on meeting or exceeding sales thresholds
:Creates and conducts effective presentations of the agency's unique factors and competencies. Participates and contributes to the development of educational programs offered to clients, prospects and company employees
:Responsible for identifying and building effective Centers of Influence by networking in the community
:Demonstrates the ability to gather and submit detailed business information for forecasting referrals, admissions, and revenue and analyzing competitors.
:Maintains accurate records of all Account and Senior Account Executive activities including sales calls, presentations, closed sales, and follow:up activities within the assigned territory
:Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
:Adherence to and compliance with information systems security is everyone's responsibility. It is the responsibility of every computer user to: Know and follow Information Systems security policies and procedures. Attend Information Systems security training, when offered. Report information systems security problems.
:Mentor employees, conduct performance evaluations, counsel and provide disciplinary actions to assigned personnel, and works to facilitate individual and team development that drives positive results.
Non:Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
:Maintains contact with current referral sources in the market area to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
:Demonstrates ability to interact and cooperate with all company employees.
:Builds trust as a member of the company's management team.
:Maintains professional internal and external relationships that meet company core values.
:Proactively establishes and maintains effective working team relationships with all support departments.
:Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education/Licensing/Certification:
:Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
:Current Driver's License and reliable transportation
Experience:
:Five (5) years management experience in medical sales, home health preferred
Knowledge and Skills:
:Excellent communicator both verbal and written
:Effective technical selling skills
:Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements
:Ability to interact with other members of the management team
:Proven leadership ability
:Demonstrated ability to lead sales representatives in growing referrals that turn into admissions
:Excellent time management, organizational skills
