Position OverviewThe Web Designer/Developer position will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining websites for our corporate office. This individual should be comfortable driving website projects from conception to implementation. We are interested in full-time candidates that have excellent communication skills, critical thinking skills, and a strong work ethic in a fast-paced team environment. We also look for candidates who strive for continuous improvement and are open to feedback and development opportunities. This is not a remote work position. Desired Technical Skills and Experience Bachelor's degree and/or relevant experience 2-3 years of professional experience designing responsive websites Highly proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, Illustrator, Photoshop) Expert knowledge of web usability standards and best practices Advanced knowledge of web browsers/browser compatibility Expert knowledge of HTML5, CSS3 Knowledge of JavaScript libraries, especially jQuery a plus Knowledge of PHP Experience working with Content Management Systems Experience with WordPress and Sitefinity a plus Experience working with Linux, Apache, MySQL Bonus skills would include understanding of Module, View, Controller(MVC) Paradigm, Zend Framework 1 & 2, MooTools, Smarty, and CSScafold Excellent verbal communication skills, as well as strong problem solving abilities and an aptitude for learning new technologies Able to effectively work within a collaborative and creative team environment Application Process Candidates applying for the position should include examples of their work.
