The Mortgage Quality Assurance Analyst I : Mortgage Net:Oxygen User Acceptance Tester is responsible for executing formal quality test plans to ensure the delivery of quality software applications that deliver on the mortgage business needs. This position is also responsible for tracking key quality assurance metrics. This position works on moderate sized initiatives.
:Executes User Acceptance test plans based on business prioritization, writes test cases/scripts supporting Mortgage Retail origination processes and procedures.
:Works closely with the end users, business technologists, and others to understand business goals and information needs; manages the process of developing resulting system test requirements.
:Tracks quality assurance metrics such as defects, defect counts, test results and test status.
:Documents all problems in Defect Resolution Software and assists in their resolution.
:Performs quality audits across Mortgage projects to ensure quality standards, procedures and methodologies are being followed.
Required Skills:
:Three to Five Years of active Mortgage Knowledge(Strongly Preferred)
:Working knowledge of NET:Oxygen Loan Origination Software
:Aptitude for technical knowledge
:Strong customer focus and ability to manage client expectations
:Solid Analytical/Problem solving skills specific to Mortgage Process.
:Working knowledge of utilizing business applications for competitive advantage
:Working knowledge and understanding of business needs
:Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
:Ability to present and explain technical information in a way that establishes rapport, persuades others, and gains understanding
:Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills at all management levels
:Ability to multi:task

Additional Skills preferred but not required:
:Advanced Knowledge of software quality assurance methodologies and tools.
:Thorough knowledge of test plan execution, scope planning, schedule development, cost estimating, budgeting, and control, quality planning assurance, organizational planning, communications planning, risk identification and risk response control.
:Thorough knowledge of the software development process, including requirements gathering, analysis and design, development tools and technologies, release and version control, contemporary testing methodologies, and deployment management.
:Working knowledge of analysis, design, and implementation experience with technologies.
:Technical proficiency in hardware and systems software.
:Ability to develop and deliver projects using leading:edge technology

This level of knowledge is normally acquired through completion of a Bachelors Degree or equivalent of 5 years Mortgage business experience.
