IT Business Systems Analyst IV - Office 365 Collaboration

This role serves as both architect and operational analyst and reports to the Collaboration Center of Excellence Manager. This person will actively seek opportunities to improve collaboration at Williams. Improve can mean implementing a new system, displacing a dated or disconnected existing system, lowering cost, or finding value added features of presently owned products. This will require teaming with other parts of Williams including Compliance, Network Services, Consumer Services, Asset Management, etc. Proposed solutions must be presented to various levels of leadership for approval. Approved solutions will require an adoption plan including extensive end user training and re-training. As an operational analyst, this person will have various daily responsibilities for Office 365, Skype for Business, Teams, OneDrive for Business, and other cloud or on-premises systems. The role will require interaction with end users to diagnose problems.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Within a short period of time, become a subject matter expert on Skype for Business Online and its advanced workloads (Ex: Audio Conferencing)
  • Prepare to be technical lead on a Skype for Business to Teams migration. Be prepared to offer go/no-go guidance based Teams feature set.
  • Constantly look for value-added and improvement opportunities across enterprise.
  • Create and perform extensive end user info and training sessions on collaboration software and hardware.
  • Keep abreast on the Office 365 Roadmap and plan accordingly.
  • Become proficient to serve as a backup for the Microsoft Exchange hybrid environment.
  • Work with external teams to ensure requirements are met (Compliance, Network, Voice Services, Consumer Services, Legal Compliance, Security)
  • Fulfill Office 365 related requests daily

  • Familiarity with risk and compliance assessment methodologies and standards

  • 8+ years of information technology experience and 2-4 years of experience with Office 365, Skype for Business Online
  • Experience creating financial analyses
  • Office 365 administration a plus including identity management/licensing experience
  • Ability to automate processes utilizing Powershell helpful
  • ServiceNow experience helpful
  • Communication skills are critical
