We are looking for sharp, disciplined and highly quantitative Data Scientists who have a passion for creating fast and efficient algorithms in the area of data analysis and machine learning, to help build a unique technology platform dedicated to real:time discovery and manipulation of data.

Responsibilities include:
:Working with a team of data engineers, developers and domain experts from different functional areas to solve problems
:Creating analytics algorithms using statistics and machine learning, advanced computing, probabilistic modeling and visualization
:Building mathematical models and automated machine learning tools to analyze and optimize all aspects of an Azure:based system, providing insights in real time
:Collaborating with data scientists, data engineers and domain experts on data selection, preprocessing and formatting for analysis
:Assisting in the implementation of product:related tools, features and/or designs
:Helping the organization shape new product directions as well as implement product vision within the context of the next generation of product architecture, while keeping data science/analytics at the forefront
:Establishing and implementing end:to:end proof of concept for data analyses
:Creating innovative methodologies for extracting value from client data
:Establishing strategic partnerships with technical leadership across functional areas
:Presenting to senior leadership as well as external audiences
:Demonstrating the ability to create new and different solutions that align to real:world problems and opportunities
Your success will be measured in customer satisfaction, monetizing the organization's services, customer retention, product usage and adoption.
:Education : Master's Degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Physics or a related field with focus on Data Analysis desirably from a top:tier institution; PhD strongly preferred
:Machine Learning, Statistics or Experiment Design : 3 to 5 years (for mid:level role) or 4 to 8 years (for senior:level role) expert:level experience including application of machine learning to real:world problems and excellent knowledge of advanced methods and their applications
:Data Analysis : Must have expert level skill; proficiency in data analysis languages including (extensive experience strongly preferred), R and SQL also required
:Software Development : Must have expert level skill and solid understanding of software development cycles, source control systems (including Git), databases, web servers, Microsoft and Linux platforms
:Probability, Statistical or Mathematical Modeling : solid understanding required including analytical and quantitative problem:solving ability; experience with Time:Series Analysis strongly preferred
:Soft Skills : Strong sense of teamwork and willingness to help others; ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non:technical staff members; good interpersonal, presentation and communication skills; self:motivated and self:directed; ability to learn new technologies quickly and adapt to a rapidly changing environment
:US Citizen or Permanent Resident
