## Job Summary
Position Summary: The OSU-Tulsa Campus Police officer exists to serve and protect the community of Oklahoma State University-Tulsa and is expected to patrol and respond to calls for service of a law enforcement and security nature.
Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and carry, push and/or pull up to 150 lbs, walk, talk, reach, stoop, hear, see, finger, climb, balance, stand, grasp, feel and perform repetitive motions with or without reasonable accommodations.
## Position Qualifications
Required: High School/GED, Must be certified by the Council on Law Enforcement Education and Training (CLEET) as a certified Police Officer in the State of Oklahoma.
Skills & Proficiencies: In addition to the Council of Law Enforcement Education and Training certification, all applicants must successfully pass a polygraph examination, complete a physical examination by a licensed physician to include a drug screen and must agree to maintain a physical condition as prescribed by the department. Applicants must be proficient in reading and writing, and employees will work any hours, any shift, with any days off, as required in order to fulfill any departmental mission and to complete a 40-hour week or other assignment as approved.
Preferred: Associate degree, Criminal Justice or related field, five years' experience as a peace officer with one year of experience in a University environment, Type 40 wpm.
