POSITION OBJECTIVE and SUMMARY
Plans, organizes, directs and manages activities associated with selling the Medicare product lines. Implements marketing and sales strategies for the Medicare product lines to achieve sales goals integrating direct sales, telephonic sales and agent/broker distribution channels. The Director of Medicare Advantage Sales works closely with the Medicare Compliance Officer and compliance staff, marketing and communications, other product managers, functional area directors and managers. This position is highly visible self:directed role that ultimately ensures both on:time, on:budget and on:sales goals of the annual MA products. This position could be in the Tulsa or Oklahoma City, OK area.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS, DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES
:Oversees strategic direction and achievement of sales enrollment goals through W2, 1099 and telephonic distribution channels
:Oversees daily activities of the MA sales department
:Supervises the MA internal call center to achieve optimum sales goals established within that distribution channel
:Utilizes corporate resources to strategically maximize sales potential within the state
:Leads, manages and directs through matrix environment and direct staff
:Coordinates and assists product development and strategic planning by market within the MA geographic coverage areas/counties
:Collaborates with finance and other functional departments in the product development effort
:Works with senior management to set sales goals and ensures sales team stays task oriented to maximize success.
:Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities up to but not limited to licensure requirements; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
:Enhances organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
:Performs other duties as assigned
:Educates constituents on GlobalHealth specific policies, product information, and procedures as well as industry issues and related key trends
