The Director, Architecture and Core Development is responsible for overseeing all tactical and strategic aspects of BOKFs Architecture and Development activities, providing senior level leadership across multiple technology teams, developing and managing relationships at an enterprise level, and fostering a culture of collaboration, creativity, and technical innovation. The Director, Architecture and Core Development collaborates closely with senior business partners and other IT Directors to understand their business strategies and works to align them to BOKF's digital transformation objectives. The Director, Architecture and Core Development is also responsible for ensuring technology strategies and business strategies are aligned; while delivering continuous adherence to regulatory requirements. Reporting to the Senior Director, Digital Solutions, the Director, Architecture and Core Development is responsible for the development of both short:term operational plans and long:term strategies enabling BOKF to effectively compete in the financial industry as a digitally transformed organization.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1.Oversee all architectural aspects of the company, providing senior level leadership across multiple technology teams, developing and managing business and technology relationships at an enterprise level and creating a culture of collaboration, creativity and continuous improvement. Collaborate closely with senior business partners to understand their business challenges; support entrepreneurial business strategies; define solutions that meet business needs and implement those solutions in a timely fashion. Responsible for development of strategic plans, architectures and standards. Manage multiple technology functions including Architecture and Core Development. Oversee assigned business and technology projects. Maintain an in:depth knowledge of BOK Financials architectures, technologies and business applications. Responsible for developing and maintaining senior leadership relationships and serves on bank:wide committees relative to technology, business projects and products. Participate at the senior leadership level for business line proposal review and the design of new products.
2.Participate in and meaningfully contribute to the IT Governance program by: participating in capability and process assessments; leverage IT Governance to drive change; management of the overall IT standards processes. Anticipate and identify issues inhibiting the attainment of assigned technology goals; develop and implement corrective actions. Develop technical governance; standards, guidelines and best practices; and development of key technology performance indicators. Develop, improve and sustain the Architecture program to ensure BOKF is well prepared for the future. Establish architectural processes that result in standardized architectural documents, adherence to standards, and furthers BOKF's digital transformation objectives. Define the system, technical, and application architectures, and in some instances the business systems architecture. Develop, document and communicate plans for investing in business systems; technology and architecture. Apply enterprise vision to all system and projects. Conceive solutions, build consensus and sell/execute solutions.
