The Marketing Manager is responsible for development, management and execution of marketing for one or more divisions. Develops and implements strategic marketing programs which assist division(s) to achieve growth and objectives which include planning and execution of marketing programs; developing and managing print, broadcast, social media, and digital marketing campaigns, managing projects related to direct mail, special events, or special one:off projects. Manages marketing budgets and oversees production, design, and project costs.
:Under the supervision of a Senior Marketing Manager, this individual manages all aspects of strategic and tactical marketing for business line initiatives and on:going marketing support; works directly with assigned support staff (market leader, business line contact, product manager).
:Works in partnership with senior business line leaders to understand line of business objectives, develop and execute broad:based marketing strategies and tactical marketing plans. Develops, executes and reports on success metrics, uses ROI information to adjust plans going forward.
:Manages, develop and executes (including writing and editing copy) for broadcast (radio), print (newspaper ads, direct mail, brochures and promotional materials) and websites, social media and/or digital campaigns. Negotiates external partnership, sponsorship or event opportunities. Conducts market research, focus groups, special events, seminars for assigned area. Orchestrates marketing projects with advertising agency, division managers, media contacts and outside professionals as assigned.
:Leads key business line meetings, providing timely status updates of key projects, provide written updates to internal clients about forthcoming campaigns and marketing programs. Proactively researches, informs and educates their internal clients about upcoming marketing opportunities, sponsorships or new ideas.
:Negotiates pricing and terms for media and other marketing services with external vendors.
:Tracks and reports ROI for marketing programs. Makes recommendations for adjustments to strategies and tactics based on findings. Provides recap to Senior Marketing Manager or Line of Business.
:Manages internet and intranet changes for assigned business line or support function. Includes revising or adding product and content pages, monitoring changes with line areas and Internet/Intranet group and providing status for appropriate line areas.
:Thorough knowledge of marketing principles and practices
:Ability to understand complex business line products and services with long sales cycles
:Ability to develop integrated marketing strategies and provides creative direction and feedback to advertising agency, creative and Web services
:Solid influence skills, ability to "sell" marketing concepts and ideas to business lines
